HAIR FOR YOU - KITCHEN

Some stills and prop renders from my group's thesis film, Hair for You. As the Sets Technical Director and Producer, I was responsible for the majority of the scene's assets (+ helped with lighting). This was the first environment I created in a while from scratch (not following direct concept art). Set dressing a piece with this many assets was challenging yet exciting. Set in Java, I had a lot of fun integrating Indonesian aspects and pieces to add to the storytelling. There was a lot of reworking done due to the amount of knowledge I had gained throughout the process. I especially loved bringing assets into ZBrush to add those little imperfections and tried to avoid making anything too "perfect". I still have a ways to go, but the results have been super rewarding so far and I can't wait to improve on such stylization in future projects.
