Logline

A 3D animated short film following a young Indonesian girl’s complex relationship with her mother that unfolds through their shared ritual of hair-combing.

Why?

This story is about a young girl trying to understand the hardships of her mother with cancer. A tribute to cancer survivors and the complicated relationships we all share with our parents. Meant to show that even through suffering, there is always empathy and hope, especially in the form of familial love.  Parents are constantly setting aside their own wants and needs for us and this story is to remind us that they deserve just as much love, care, and support back.
