KINGDOM BELOW | BE TEAM CHALLENGE

Responsible for

- House modular kit (walls, corners, foundations, roofs, windows, doors, and metal sheets)
- Corrugated metal tileable
- Heavily contributed to blocking, set dressing, lighting, foreground composition, final cameras, and editing
- In charge of schedule planning and overall group communication, helping the team stay on track despite the tight deadline and timezone differences

Real-time environment created from scratch over the course of five weeks as part of Beyond Extent’s 2026 Spring Team Challenge. I had the pleasure of working with and leading a team of four other artists following the theme, “Kingdom Below”. 🌱

Being my first games environment, I learned so much on this project working with modularity, tileables, texel density, vertex painting, and collaborating using Gluon/PlasticSCM.

We took on a more unconventional approach to the theme, drawing some inspiration from Stray and Arcane. This challenge was a great experience and pushed me to grow tremendously as an artist and a team leader. I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished in such a short time and couldn’t have asked for a better team. Thank you all for working so hard and teaching me so much on this project.
